UPS Jobs opening nationwide - apply online for UPS jobs & careers!

There's good news for those who are trying to get out of unemployment. The United Parcel Service has announced that there will be 25,000 UPS jobs opening nationwide. Right now, the UPS currently employs 99,000 drivers in the United States. The average UPS jobs salary is over $70,000 annually. Before you race off to your local UPS store, there are some special training requirements for those interested in UPS jobs or careers.

It's important to first find positions in your particular area, but then to fill out the UPS jobs application. In order to become enrolled in UPS training, an applicant is then required to pass a virtual driving test. If the applicant is successful, they will start training at the UPS training facility which is about 10 miles away from Washington, D.C.

The most popular UPS jobs are driver positions, while package handler jobs tend to be more plentiful. It's been noted that in order to get one of those coveted driving UPS careers, it may be wise to start out in another position and move up.

UPS has also stated that rather than go to local UPS stores in search of job applications, interested applicants should apply online for UPS jobs. The UPS website provides a search to allow users to find UPS careers by location. For example, interested applicants can look for UPS jobs in California or UPS Jobs in Roanoke VA by entering zip code, desired distance range or state. You can check the listings for available UPS jobs in your area here at the UPS Job Search.
